Dear all,

we have a D425-2 DP/PN Simotion with a CX32 and some Profinet nodes, FW 4.3.

Machine ran perfectly for 7 years and recently customer called us because the Simotion shown some red/orange leds.

When I went online I saw some strange errors concerning the peripherals.

We tried to redownload all the project, but it failed, showing some errors in peripheral accesses (I do not have any SS of this)

After lot of tests, we formatted the CF (made a new bootloader), reinserted the Firmware 4.3 downloaded from website but didn't program it, leaving the USER folder empty.

We disconnected all the I/Os, all the Profinet cables and Drive Cliq Cables, leaving only the +24V connector.

We went online making a topology comparison (Profinet) and in the "Online" tab, the onboard profinet card did not appear (in the offline topology, obviously it appeared).

So it seems (please I ask confirmation) that the profined built in card is not detected, so system cannot work. It seems that the Simotion is damaged and needs to be replaced since I do not know any other method to revive it (or "him", haha).

Atteched there is the Diagnostic list, where, in evidence, you see the atypical error.

In addition, with PronetA, we were able to see the Simotion ONLY if we connected to another ethernet port except the Profinet three ports.

do you know if the entire unit must be replaced or can be replaced the profinet card only ?
