I need to create a faceplate with one dynamic property.Ineed to create a tag of data type WORD to be that property, and then I want to use its individual bits for output purposes. I've created a structure with 16 positions butflexible countsa tag for each position. I need to be able to do this but only spending one tag instead of actual 16.... To sum up: What i've done: 1. Create structure named DW0 with 16 positions of type bool 2. Create tag of data type DW0 3. Create faceplate with one property of type DW0 4. Compile project: Number of power tags used:16 What i need 1. Create tag DW0 of type WORD 2. Create faceplate with property of type WORD (linked to tag DW0)and outputits individual bits 3. So that, when i compile, for each faceplate i can get 1 power tag instead of the actual 16... how can i do the trick ? Thanks, Diogo

The Body Posts: 836 Rating: (71)	Hi diogo.obpa, there exists a function, so called "ShiftAndMask", in WinCC flexible. But I would suggest you to handle your task with help of adress multiplexing. Of course, it depends, what you like to do.
