I know this is a very old post but i hav exaclty the same problem. Alarm 300701 on all axis. Normally the machine is off at night an every day its seems like its resets ittself. I already replaced the battery, the nck/plc and the MMC (HMI). Everyday i need to restore the nck and plc data.

Its looks like the battery but it isnt.

 Facing same problem for 840d al control. I have tried with new NCK battery, but not worked. Have you found any other solution ??

Significance of Alarm 300701 is  START UP is required for drive. 611D drive data is stored in 840D NCU memory which is restored in 611D drive during every power ON of system. Have you restored NC data after replacement of battery? I guess in your case data is lost & you need to clear NC PLC data & restore it. Before clearing, pleas check if you have valid NC, PLC back up data either on your system i.e. HDD or NC card or on external storage device.
