Hi dear all

I have back up of nc  and plc in archive 840 d. I transfered to pc with simco software. I can read line to line nc in simco but i cant read plc. Enybody knows how can i read plc too.

Not possible you read same as on SIMATIC MANAGER in other editors .

Piscean is right information.

Perhaps two options in different ways

1.Sinumerik 840d have  step7 options on op10 or pcu 50.x  so you can view PLC logic on screen.

2. You make archive PLC project from step7  to view offline( menu >>  step7) login required and copy it pcu to PC,then restore with step7 in pc or laptop which simatic manager 7.4 and above

PLC  .arc back up file is just to restore data in system & it can not be edit or read by software , by SIMATIC MANAGER too.
