Hi!

Me and my colleague have som problems with a DI 16x24VDC ST input card. We get these three error messages:

"Hardware component not available due to a parameter assignment error",

"Configuration error - Station stop - Module parameter <potential group> incorrect or wrong BaseUnit/Terminalblock on configuration slot 10" and

"Parameter error"

We've tried to switch it out for another card but get the same errors. Feels like there is a problem with the configuration but it looks the same as the configuration for another machine that works fine.

Is it an ET200SP card? (What Terminal is used?)

I recommend to update the firmware of the DI 16X24VDC ST in this case. The download you will find by the link:

After compile the complete project with the both instructions:

• “Compile > Hardware (rebuild all)”
• “Compile > Software (rebuild all)”

And repeat the download again.

It's looks like Base Unit problem. Check if in your project the New Potential group is starting at slot 10. If yes, it should have whit Base Unit.
