What properties does PCS7 need to have so it "thinks" this manually-copied-symbol is a autogenerated symbol and placed on the same spot when issuing Bausteinsymbole erzeugen/aktualisieren again?

mbgarr Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I have a question about placing symbols: I can select in Technologische Sicht, Extras - Bausteinsymbole erzeugen/aktualisieren. PCS7 then places e.g. a valve that exists as CM onto the picture where I then can drag it around. But I can also copy an existing valve, fill out all properties (objectname, System-TagNameDisplayed, System-TagName, etc.). How do I copy a valve symbol and edit the properties, so PCS7 does not delete this manually-copied-symbol when issuing another Bausteinsymbole erzeugen/aktualisieren? What properties does PCS7 need to have so it "thinks" this manually-copied-symbol is a autogenerated symbol and placed on the same spot when issuing Bausteinsymbole erzeugen/aktualisieren again?

Oreca Platinum Expert Joined: 3/14/2008 Last visit: 1/19/2026 Posts: 2233 Rating: (987)	Hi, When you have created a copy of the block icon, go to the properties of the block icon->System->Type and remove only the "@" from the value. For example you have a OpDi01 with type: @OpDi01/3 if you have a copy just delete the "@" so you end up with: "OpDi01/3". Then the wizard will not delete the block icon from the screen.
