Hi,

This is the exactly requirement what I need now to configure S7-1200 as i-device for PCS7 CPU 410-5H.

I have searching in a lot of documents and FAQ, so at the moment there are not possible to have S7 i-device serving redundancy function for redundancy controllers system.

Shared devices is a great idea, but I have to make sure if the first CPU is gone, second CPU still have connectivity to S7 i-device. Because as in STEP 7 HW-config. diagnostic data of Shared i-device is available only in one CPU.

If you have any  updated, please shared with me.

I have S7-400H system in my project and I wish to communicate to 3 S7-1200 controllers. I am also trying same approach of importing gsdml given by supplier.

However, i am quiet new to this.

Can you explain me detailed process for such configuration? What i must do after installing S7-1200 gsdml in PCS7? What configurations in PCS7 must be done? Is there any document which explains this?
