My server1 after restart the scope of Download OS were hidden and report:"RT Station not obtainable"

Usually, This issue arises when the SIMATIC shell does not list your OS PC in ES PC.

To rectify, pls follow the below steps,

• Go to "This PC" in ES PC, Find and open the SIMATIC Shell folder.
• Right click on the Simatic Shell -> Settings
• Select the network adapter (Terminal Bus - Which is used for ES,OS and Clients communication)
• Uncheck the "Encrypted Communication"

Now, Try to download from ES to OS

As you said, The name of svr1 is not in list of the Simantic shell. But "Encrypted Communication" of every network adapter is now uncheck as following picture.

Hi,

Make sure that your ES and OSs are in same IP subnet.

Example:  ES 172.16.20.xx

                 OS 172.16.20.x1

You can download to OS, once ES lists the OS in simatic shell.
