The user administration in flexible is as in any other system.
You have groups, authorizations for each group and then users belonging to respective groups.

By default, there are three authorizations - Administrator, Monitor and Operate. You can edit the names of these. These just indicate a level. These do not define activities. You may define a maximum of 32 authorization levels (for most devices). Although this may vary from device to device.

A default group of 'Administrators' is created. An administrator group is the one which has access to all the authorization levels. There is a second user group created with limited rights. Again the maximum number depends on the device type.

The actual users are created to belong to one and only one group. You may shift the group of the user in the runtime as well. A default user Admin is created belonging to the Administrators group.

The minimum password length is3 and the maximum (configurable) is 24.

There are some special functionalities provided for passwords
- password aging (maximum days, warning days, etc)
- number of valid inputs allowed
- options for compulosry inclusion of special characters and numbers.
- first time change in passwords
- group heirarchy etc.

I have tested Flexible User adminstration for a few devices for the past 2 years. I believe that this is sufficient for you to know/start withthe user administration in flexible.
