I am after help with an issue I have on the sinumerik 802 d sl horizontal borer.

I am having problems with the 025030 axis 1 actual velocity alarm.

The chuck will start up but alarms as the RPM goes over 80 rpm. When I do a PRT the encoder value is currently 80rpm. This value was and should be 150 rpm.

Would I be correct in saying if I could change the value in MD 36200 AX. Velo_limit to 150 this would correct my problem ?

If this is correct could anyone tell me how to go about changing this value ?

Do I need any special software, leads etc.

My customer also has an identical machine, could I copy the program from that 2nd machine and upload into this machine ?

I hope someone can help me sort this issue.
