How to complie OS when CPU in run mode

RAWAT Posts: 30 Rating: (1)	Dear Sir, I am new in this field .Iwant to know that how to complie OS in PCS7 when CPU is in run mode .actually i add some PID in program & i want to add this PID in wincc .but i dont know the correct procedure of compling OS when CPU is in run mode . sir i have one more doubt that in PCS7 when i change in FB or DB then how to download this FB or DB when CPU is in run mode with regards rawat

cumulus Posts: 993 Rating: (103)	Hi Rawat To compile the OS double click at "Simatic PC Station" > "WinCC Application" rightclick at the OS-name and select "compile" follow the wizzard. By the way, iallways use this wizzard to comile the OS. to load a single block doubleclick at the block. click in the opened editor at "PLC" > "Download" regards cumulus

System will download everything changed (check box "include user data block", depending from which version you are using). Different possibilities about OS compile, depending from which version are you using: after plc program compilation will be you able to compile OS, as well as cumulussaid, if you are using PCS7 v7 and ES/OS station. for previuos version you have to exit from WinCC runtime to compile OS. if ES is not OS station you need download compiled OS on OS station Hope can help you Regards
