Tune position controller servo axis

DavidBrown Posts: 975 Rating: (9)	I have S7 1516T cpu with Sinamics S120 drives as positioning axes in the plc. I can tune the speed controller of the axis by going to the drive object in TIA16 and then execute the 'one button' tuning. But I don't see an autotuning for the position controller. Does it exist (as it is in Simotion) or do I have to do manual tuning?

Once the control parameters have been determined with the help of "One Button Tuning", they can be applied to the technology object from parameters r5276 (kv factor) and r5277 (vtc). Here, due to the different units, the values will need to be converted for use in the TO: kv: TO in 1/s and OBT in 1000/min → kv𝑇𝑂 = kv𝑂𝐵𝑇 * 1000 / 60 vtc: TO in s and OBT in ms → vtcTO = vtcOBT/1000 Additionally, for the kv factor of the TO, only a maximum of 50% of the determined theoretical maximum kv should be applied. If the settings in the drive change e.g. other load, another OBT optimization and synchronization in the TO should be performed.

DavidBrown Posts: 975 Rating: (9)	I have another project with S210 drives and S7-1517T cpu Tia v16. If I only dot the OBT in the webpage of the drive itself, and not in the configuration screen of TIA, will the estimation of Kv and vTc be different then when done in TIA?

The parameters will be calculated inside of the drive according to the measurement of the mechanics.
