waiting for plc connection

George71 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a CTX310 lathe and when i start the machine itpops up the SINUMERIC 840D SHOPTURN logo and does not load the programs, and if you press any key it writes Hmi embedded version 06.02.42 waiting for plc connenction and stays there forever,also i noticed that it doesnt recognize any drives ,also the date at bios is stack at 1999. help plz

Does your 840D is connected with PCU50/MMC103? you can able to see backside of the operator panel.?? first create a backup before doing any thing Do you get any[.] dot symbol in the NCU card?? Regarding your error what you get in machine...see in the diagnosis screen are you getting any further alarm. Have you connected your Simatic Step7 manager and checked the module infromation status what erroris come? Kindly take the backup before doing any kind of activity.ensure you all so have the machine manufacturer backup. And then clear your PLC and Load and check. If you have the error screen shot post the same. Check it out and revert back. Regards, Prakash
