What are absolute products?  Probably bad translation?

I think "absolute" and "relative" which do not seem to apply to PLCs - at least to me.

The TIA Selection Tool is a great tool for selecting non-obsolete parts for projects.  There is an online version which is always up to date, and a downloadable version which needs updating before use (in my experience).

I think if you use that tool (an easy find by searching this support site in the "Search in Online Support" box), you only find available parts.

If you want to know if something is becoming obsolete (and when), you can check the life cycle from the support link available from the Siemens Industry Mall.
