I am using Desigo CC version 3.0. I freshly installed DCC, LMS and IIS on a new virtual machine and I restored a project. When attempting to start a BACnet driver its manager status would not change from "Starting". I tried to make another driver, but got an error message instead, "Node creation failed".
I thought that maybe the restored project caused this fault, so I made a new project and still got the error message "Node creation failed".
Then I realised that I cannot create any nodes (no folders, graphics, ..).
Have I incorrectly installed DCC on the computer or what is the cause of this?

I had the same issue and the problem was that you have to make a fresh installation of the OS and not restore the virtual machine. If you see the services from windows you will notice that the BACnet driver service fails with some exception message. It is not a CC issue

Why would a failing BACnet driver not let me create nodes though? Creating nodes seems like a CC software issue to me.
