Is there parameter to adjust that how large values we can use in the fine offset?

Now limit is +/- 1mm as seen on attachment.

Control is: Sinumerik 840D sl

We have new horizontal turn/mill-machine and thinking why it`s not possible use larger values in fine offset, like on our older vertical lathe with siemens control. New siemens control doesn`t allow that.

We can live with that +/-1mm fine offset value.

For Sinumerik 840Dsl it is MD​9451 MM_WRITE_ZOA_FINE_LIMIT-Limit value for offset fine. For Sinumerik 840D pl different MD.

We have always increased the value of wear fine.

I do not understand why you want increase exactly offset fine. Never meet problem like you have.

I try to explain why we need larger fine offset.

So we use describe command in shopturn header and we have special z-zero flange in chuck.
