Hello, i need to connect more than 32 profinet devices to the S7_1500 CPU 1511.

The devices are master Io-Link profinet.

In your opinion, can i use the communication module CM1542-1 for extend the number of devices ?

The CM1542-1 will be connected to a new profinet network (named #2).

The profinet networks (#1 and #2) must be physically divided ?

the CPU1511 can handle way more than 32 devices itself, so if you do not need a seperate PROFINET network, you can connect the io-link master modules directyl to the cpu.

 Hello Sancruz, thanks for the reply, but I had seen that the number of IO System is only 32. So the item 6ES7148-6JD00-0AB0 SIMATIC DP, ET 200eco PN, IO-Link master, 4IO-L is an IO Device and not an IO system ?

the IO-Link Master is an device, not a system.
