300608 - Speed controller at its limit, i.e. motor is blcoked means set torque limit is exceeded.

Is Y axis is verticle axis? If yes, please check its counter balance cyclider pressure, bearings in sprobket, chain, external etc. etc. Also check if motor is brake motor. If yes, check motor brake release function.

and I noticed you have alarm 21612 ( PLC interface signal candled during axis moving), next time when Y axis alarms , record "Alarm Log" to see the sequence of those alarms. or post the screen shot.

Hi Everyone. I really need some help. I'm getting multiple errors below during startup when referencing the Y axis. Sometimes if I leave the machine on for couple hours it will eventually work and I can reference the Y axis. Once I have it it reference, the machine will run all day but when I come back the following day and start the machine.. same problem again.  l already replaced the power control and the controller for that axis and still the same problem. I'm the only one operating and programming the machine, no one tampered with any settings including myself. Thanks in advance!

Please buy/purchase replacement component/product directly from Siemens instead on line buying/purchasing.

I have similar experience like you when I buy spare parts for customer , i want to take a little more time to discuss with you. 

#1--you got the brand new 6SN1123-1AB00-0BA2--2x25A power section , you installed and try right the way and you encounter the alarm 300608 ?

#2--You can return the power module to get refund 

give some more story  

Finally --we got ideas for alarm 300608 in 611D and the similar in 611U E x608

mostly power section defective or mechanical blockage , condition is motor, cables all good.

I answered another case week ago. same issue power section system 810D, drive 611D

Hi, I just want to update this post just in case someone encounter the same problem. It was the power module for my XY axis card. PN: 6SN1123-1AB00-0BA2.  We didn't suspect this was at fault because we bought it brand new/sealed box, 4 months ago on eBay. We assume it was something else. We did adjust our gibs and check for any mechanical restriction causing this problem on both X and Y axis, even swapped swapped servo motors... at the end it was the power module. We bought a used one this time.
