Good morning,

I am looking for a way to reduce I/O state field text length on display.

The default length is 8 char but very often is too much (usually just ON OFF texts are used).

Since I/O state can overlap, it would be very useful to reduce its max length to have more than 2 I/O state on a single display row.

Is there any way to reduce max I/O state field length?

What do you mean by "Since I/O states can overlap..." ?

If you use the ticker setting of the message text module line by line, you can display 4 I/O states (always two alternating) on one line.

However, if no text is required, you can use the four available bar charts for other purposes. You get that in one line.

This doesn't change the fact that the text length is fixed at 8 characters and can't be changed.

you can use a 2 charackter wide bargraf to show the status. See attached example.

Please not max. 4 bargraphs are possible in one message text.
