Hello Fabio; I can suggest you start by looking at the concept of Process Objects in your version of PCS7. The documents beliw also explain how POs are "booked" for the AS in the system. In this link, open the "Chapter" column corresponding to the version of PCS 7 you are working with: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/17294496 One you have clarified the basic concepts related to POs, we can try to answer specific issues you have. have Hope this helps, |

Hi, The CPU410-5H is a scalable CPU. That means it has the best performance hardware (so obviously the correct choice), but you scale it according to your application by using AS PO. You can buy the CPU with different PO and you can upgrade a CPU with 100 or 500 at a time. The PO are stored on a SEC (System Expansion Card) which is in the back of the CPU. It has the advantage when replacing the CPU, you can put the SEC on the new CPU and all licenses are available. You can thus order a CPU without SEC. But you always need a SEC in the CPU or it won't work. I think the smallest order package is 100 PO. When buying 2000+ package, you basically have unlimited PO, but watch the hardware restrictions. Ps: please note that the AS PO are different from AS RT PO that are stored on the ES station. Those need to be purchased as well.
