It has a block that you can create batches from the AS. But you need SIMATIC BATCH software in orde to use it at least. The IL is not a replacement for SIMATIC BATCH. The IL also features communication blocks for communication between S7400, S7300, S71500. The 400 CPU must be used in conjunction with PCS7.
