replacement tools

TwanV Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi all, Before a start of an Nc i want to check if the used tools are available in the machine and if they are not broken. If a tool is broken i want to check if a replacement tool is available. Question is, How to ask a 840D controller a question to give information of a tool if you dont know the Duplo_No of a tool. Eg. in toolchain 2 tools with the name "Drill" ==>How to ask the Duplo_No of 1e "Drill" and 2e "Drill" Tool "Drill" Tool "Drill" Regards

If your machine builder made tool management by themselves you need contact them, if in case they used Siemens "Tool Management" Option, I attached 840D sl manual for you Attachment 840Dsl_tool_manage_fct_man_1217_en-US.pdf (289 Downloads)
