Lost data integrity by extending AG Send/Recv Live

Buko Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi all I had to add two bytes of data to AG send on live project. Order I did it is: Sender CPU315-2DP CP343-1 Lean - extended DB67 - extended SEND P#67.DBX0.0 Byte 38 to P#67.DBX0.0 Byte 40 in AG Send then Reciver CPU315-2DP CP343-1 Lean - extended DB67 - extendedRECV P#67.DBX0.0 Byte 38 to P#67.DBX0.0 Byte 40 in AG RECV I did this live and ended up with inconsisten data in reciving PLC Looks like the received data is offset by few bytes all the time, Plant is not to be stopped so restarting CP's(commmunicating with other PLC's) is not the answer. Any sugestions why did that happend and what to do to fix it ?? Regards Tom

Look at Changing the input parameter of the user blocks "AG_SEND" and "AG_RECV" during the runtime of a job I don't know if it would be possible to fix without restart. Buko Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Found solution in form of AG_CNTRL with CMD=2 Resets only connection with given ID so i don't lose other connections. "Resetting the connection means that a connection is aborted and established again (active or passive depending on the configuration). Works only with new CP cards did work on test ring but on site where installled CP343-1 lean CX10 Ver1.0 CP card did't recognise the command ?? Had to restart CP card anyway lucky for me thay had hardware failure and had to stop the process anyway . Very lucky Tom
