Hi everyone

i am a beginner  and this is my first time working with stepper with 1200plc

i have a nema 23 with it's driver (picture),and i want to control it with s7-1215c plc (dc/dc/rly),the rly output doesn't have a Hight switching frequency  which will reduce the motor speed ,but it's find for me just for the purpose of learning

my question is :with this rly output is't possible to control the motor with motion control (which will give a low speed but it's ok for me) or the DC output is a must

in my case i find that the only solution is adding a signal board 200khz,not an SM (am  i right)

also find that sinking and sourcing terms are not related to outputs only inputs

my stepper driver is cloudray cl23 if anyone one worked with before please guide me especially in wiring

you can always try but not sure you'll get great results. The only way is with an additional output card.
