CIM mPCIe module not initialising

ICA Tom Member Joined: 8/5/2021 Last visit: 8/12/2022 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi I have a new LOGO! CIM module and can't get the celular data to connect. The cellular settings page shows that the module is plugged in but the mPCIe LED flashes for about 20 seconds then goes out for 10 seconds and repeats. I have a SIM card installed that I know is activated and works but it shows as not detected. The mPCIe module is one of the recommended ones from the manual, the Telit LE910C1-EU. I have two of the mPCIe modules and they both produce the same results but only have one CIM base unit as the second is on back order so can't rule out a hardware issue with that. Check if the SIM card is plugged in correct. 3. Check the APN data of your profider Info: http://www.internet-ausland.de/apn-einstellungen/ 4. Check the SIM card in a mibile phone if Internet works 5. Check if the PIN is correct 6. Check if the antenna is connected to a 4G/LTE connector at the engine and not to the GNSS port 7. Check the internet connection to IP: 8.8.8.8 (Google server) 8. If you use a prepayed card, check if money is on the account Hope this helps

KarelBz Member Joined: 3/9/2012 Last visit: 2/26/2024 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello Tom. I have exactly the same experience with Telit LE910C1-EU. Telit support did not help much. So Telit was replaced by SIMCOM_SIM7600G-H (also recommended for CIM) and it works (at least sends power on and power off SMS on a smart phone. See picture included please. It means that CIM module is OK and Telit has problem. If you have some idea how to activate Telit please let us know. Attachment simcom.jpg (590 Downloads)
