I've tried to connect a second modbus client to a logo server port (i.e. 503) while a previous client was already connected. I got 'connection failed' until I disconnected previous client. After that, second client successful connects.

Is there a single client connection for any server port (502-509)? Is this limit fixed or it can be configured?

Each load of a given kind should read the same variable to activate itself according with the PV power available at a given moment...

That's all. One information producer and many consumers.

Ok. I assume there can be just one connection active for each logical server port. I have 8 logical port so I can connect a max of 8 simultaneous devices on ports from 502 to 509.

In the case I need to connect multiple devices on a single logical port, I have to perform a connect-read/write-disconnect cycle for any device. Not a problem!

I am looking at doing a similar thing for a project to use excess power in a pv system and not send it back to the grid, did you mange to sort it ?  Was it a on or off grid system ?
