I would like to learn abot PLC input and output voltage levels. As I know,  for inputs we should supply GND to 1M pin and send +24V from other equipments (relay contacts, sensörs etc.) to input channels or vice versa. We can read inputs with this standarts.

What if we use 5V power suppply for input? i mean, i will connect my 5v supply GND to 1M pin and +5V to input channels. PLC's input reading could be done correctly with 5v?

it won't work with 5V on the standard inputs.

There is a mininum voltage needed for 1-signal. Information can be found in technical data.

Hello.

There is a solution if you have only a few signals that you wish to connect to the PLC. There are signal boards that mounts into the CPU.

Beyond this, the market does offers signal converters to boost 5V to 24V. You can also consider a 'relay' or building some electronic circuit.

Other alternatives is to use communications that can link with remote I/O boards that can handle the voltages you are asking about.
