MM3/CB15 ProfiBus DP What Software Tools

kengrant Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I have been asked to do some maintenance on a system with no supporting documentation or program files of any kind. It is based on the 6ES7-318-2AJ00-0AB0 CPU v1.1, Drives 6SE9215-8DB40 w/ CB15 ProfiBus DP v1.13 and DC/AC Masterdrive 6SE7016-1TA61, also on ProfiBus. When I try and upload the CPU318 via MPI/DP port to Step7 v5.3 SP3 an error 13:77 appears: Attribute ID 102 not available; continuing the upload, we have the hardware config. & blocks in the project, but the ProfiBus configuration does not appear. I have a support case open w/ Johnson City, TN with no joy so far. The HW interface is via CP5511 v4 What software modules should be installed on my PG to support this equipment? How do I recover the ProfiBus configuration from the CPU? I found a reference to loading FC v1.1 defs on the PG in another thread on the error 13:77 but no clues as to what or where this item is. Any help on these issues would be appreciated.

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (1000)	kengrant What software modules should be installed on my PG to support this equipment? How do I recover the ProfiBus configuration from the CPU? Try the Drive-ES Software. On older equipment, the "DVA" Softwarecan bein use.

Look at While interpreting the system data blocks (SDBs) uploaded from the module, an error was recognized in the programming device and processing halted. Cause: 1.Inconsistent HW configuration in module, occurs when previous loading of SDBs into the module was incomplete or faulty. 2.Options package for configuring specific modules (e.g. CPs) is not installed To solve this, my opinion is, you need information which software packages was used. And if I understood, this is not possible to find original project or any info. To work in Step7 with drives (to be possible to integrate in to Step7 project) you need Drive ES Basic. I suggest you to install this software, make update of hardware catalog and try again to make upload. If this error continue, you must prepare exactly, existing hardware configuration and download it to the CPU. Let me know result... regards
