Hi,

 SINUMERIX 840D NCK BATTERY NOT REPLACED 3 YEARS + & NO BATTERY FAULT ALARM IN CONTROL SYSTEM.

WE POWER OFF 840D ONE WEEK. AFTER POWER ON PROGRAM ERASED.WE DOWNLOADED AGAIN THE PROGRAM.SO WE SUSPECT BATTERY FAULTY.BUT NO ALARM IN CONTROL SYSTEM

CAN WE REPLACE THE NEW BATTERY?

OR NO NEED TO REPLACE?

Thank you for share the procedure.

I  Already have the battery & aware the procedure to replace new Battery.

My question is

1) Currently no alarm in the HMI. Without battery fault alarm can replace the new battery or no need?

2) when we Power Off & Power On the 840D, that time program getting Erase - New Battery Replaced is the solution ?

Kindly Advice for above two points
