I cannot archive batches. When I do, I see this error:

I have given access to the remote directory to the user logged in, the folder is also empty, so there is plenty of space. The connection works when I press the test button on the archiving settings. What else could it possibly be? The user can write and create files to this directory in the file explorer but the BatchCC cannot archive to it.

Have you tested the connection to the directory? You can do it by the following:

1.Open BCC (Batch Control Center)

2. In the Menu Bar, click Options > Settings > Project Settings

3. In the Project settings window, expand Batches and select Archiving

4. Under the technology options you should see the path under the Directory. Make sure you are using the UNC convention.

5. Click the Test button, you will get a message displaying the results of the test. 

If the test fails make sure you have the correct user settings. Most setups I have granted read/write to everyone group for the target directory.
