PCS7 Server Trends Issue

After 2 or 3 days trend stops capturing archive data and back to normal after 1 minute while server communication remain UP. I am using PCS7 v9.0 SP2. If someone face this issue kindly share the possible solution. Please. see attached picture for reference. TIA Attachment Archieve Trends Issue.JPG (415 Downloads)

Does this occur after a download to the OS? Did you try a full compile with memory reset and download? (I had a similar issue and resolved it with a full compile and download) How often does this occur? Are there and PLCs\Devices\Etc on the Plant bus that are not part of the MultiProject?

Kindly check the database if you are seeing old data of archived values of missed time period on trend curve. If data are available/present in database over there and not showing here, is because of Tag logging SCS. Tag logging SCS shows the data upto 120MB (It compresses the data to avoid crash) to show on the graph when you pause and sees the old data on trends. Due to SCS restriction, graph might miss some data for some period of time. If data are not available/not present in database then service team has to look into this. You can rise the service request by following link. Create Request Hope it helps you!

I have had issues with WinCC when sharing the plant bus with AB PLCs in the past. Can you isolate these other PLCs from the Plant Bus such as disconnecting them or using a VLAN? Once you seperate them monitor the system to see if the issue is resolved. If you still have an issue maybe get someone who can run WireShark on the network.

System is still under observation and I will update my observations in few days. Appreciated your support .
