Ram drive for Mould application not running at lower rpm

Nitin Parmar Advanced Member Joined: 9/23/2013 Last visit: 9/11/2025 Posts: 51 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, Application : Ram drive for mould application Type of Job : Master drive MC to Sinamics S120 upgradation Communication between Sinamics S120 drive system & Siemens PLC : Profibus Sinamics S120 system : Cu320-2DP(1no),BLM(1no),Motor Module(4nos),SMC10(4nos) Here I attached the testing data for your reference. It is observed that while received the velocity override < than 128 dec count from plc to drive(P2646) that time motor will stopped to rotate. It is observed that r2666 which is generated from drive(act) is consider is 0 lu/min due to its only consider integer value. Motor is rotated in last 128 dec count at 1% Velocity as 1000 Lu/min(1mm/min) travel setpoint=12.9870 rpm. But as per the application , Drive should be run below the 1% as per requirement received count from plc < the 128 dec count. Suppose If I want to run the drive at 0.5% velocity then it should be run at 6 rpm but that is not happening. To resolve the issue , please let me know what should I have to do????? For example 10 times higher, so you will correct setrpoints for position and velocity also 10 times higher and than you can set veloctiy to 12 LU/min which produce same motor speed as 120 LU/min before.
