Hi I'm creating a script in Starter v5.4.2.1 to copy parameters to a large amount of drives.

The updated parameters are exported to a script file using the parameter comparison function.

When I run the script on a device, copying parameters is working fine but I have a problem writing values using the Symbols function.

The script code is as following:

Parameters(1731, 0) = 56.4157           'Isd controller combination current time component

Parameters(1750, 0) = "&H3"             'Motor model configuration

Symbols("p1750[0].0") = True              'Motor model configuration

Symbols("p1750[0].1") = True              'Motor model configuration

The scripting message output shows the following message:

Error 16:30:17 Symbols.Item(p1750[0].0) ; Failed: The element has not been found ("p1750[0].0"): SOM_NOT_FOUND (0x8004000d)

According the help file the syntax of the Symbols function is correct.

Can anybody help with the code how to set parameters p1750[0].0 and p1750[0].1 to True? The attachment shows the parameters that I would like to set.
