Invalid input signals

This error is output if inconsistencies are detected between associated I/Os.

Example: The close and open commands cannot be output simultaneously to the valve, for example.

In your case, IOs might have got simultaneous signals at inputs due to electrical isssues.

If the block algorithm detects an invalid combination of input signals, an error number(ErrorNum)is output that depends on the block type.

In the case of motors, valves and batches, the faceplates’ standard view will additionally output the text “invalid signal”.

Its difficult to say how and why!

There are couple of errors arises in running CPUs if power disturbs. (Actually it affects the execution of program). In your case SMs and IMs got disturbed. Hence, There were no proper handshaking between CPU and IMs. Due to these reasons system requires full download sometime.
