MM440 Device Indentification Problem in DriveMon Software

Tariq Posts: 50 Rating: (1)	Dear Sir/madam I was using two MM440 Drives of Order # 6SE6440-2UD32-2DA1 and Issue: E / V2.08.... Two months ago, one of the drive got damaged and I replaced it with new one with same order number but Issue: X / V2.11… Now I want to start the second drive. The manufacturer of my machine told me to upload all data from old drive and download it to the new one. I uploaded all data from old drive by using DriveMon (with Serial Cable). I uploaded all data successfully without errors. Now when I want to download all data in new MM440, I am have following problem. When I am trying to go online (write RAM ) with Drive, It is searching for device identification, but it fails to search any device. Due to this I am unable to download any parameters. Also it is giving me messages like DEVICE BUSY & PNU UNKNOWN at some parameters. I tried many times to identify the device but it fails to indentify my drive. What could be the reason?? I am using following online settings: Unit Type: Micromaster440 Short Type: MMV4 Unit Version: 02.1 Quantity of PZD: 2 My DriveMon software version is V5.4.1.1 The connection kit which I am using is 6SE6400-1PC00-0AA0… Kindly help me how could I go online with my new drive. First You've got to look in P2010, In1. check the value in P2010, and put the same value in Your DriveMonitor. (Tools -> online settings -> interface -> baud rate) After change the value in DM You must to restart DM To find correct inverter do: File -> set up USS online connection -> start

Check the speed of Your connection (in DriveMon) to do this: TOOLS -> ONLINE SETTINGS -> INTERFACE -> BaudRate MICROMASTER in factory settings use 9600, if You have different speed You cant make connection. Then You must change speed to 9600 and turn off and on DriveMon.
