Hello Specialists,

My V90 drive is a 6SL3210-5FE11-0UA0 (SNC-A5E03662018). My motor is a "newer" one (1FL6042-2AF21-1AB1). The firmware at the drive is 10301.4 (taken from parameter r29018).

My problem is that with this firmware I have to use V Assistant V1.06.02 but this version does not have at the motor data base the motor I want to use.

My question is: up to which firmware version can I upgrade this drive safely ?

Is there a way to add at the motor data base my motor manually ?

Is there a link somewhere for this info ?

Also at the drive's manual is recommended to be sure of this, otherwise the drive may not recover.

Is there any way to make sure of this ? Also, how come V Assistant does not have "backwards" compatibility ? (This question is not for you of course)

I manage to update to V1103 successfully. Still my motor is not listed there.

Any suggestions ? Can I upgrade more ?
