it says to implement master/follower for 2 connected drives in the following way:

1. Master operates in speed control

2. Slave operates in Torque control and gets torque setpoint from Master

Also I would add a speed limit for Slave - especially in situation where belts are used
to protect against overspeeding when belt breaks or starts to slip.

PLC (or drive - built in belt failure detection) would need detect it from RPM difference and alarm / stop accordingly.
