Please let me know How 32 device per Profibus DP network has come?

Please let me know How 32 device per Profibus DP network has come? What is the theroitical formula to calculate this 32 Number. Thanks Chauhan |

Hello Chauhan; I don't know if this is the explanation you were expecting, but this is how B&B Electronic's RS-485 tips page explains the limitation of 32 nodes per segment on RS-485 networks (Profibus follows the specifications of RS-485): Q: Why do I need a RS-485 repeater for more than 32 nodes/devices? |

THERE MUST BE SOME MATHAMETICAL FORMUL TO CALCULATE THE 32 DEVICE ON BUS. |
