I have one question. Is any possibility to load Excel data saved on USB flash to HMI panel 6AV2128-3KB06-0AX0? The data is a recipe. I can't find information about it in datasheet.

WinCC Unified supports JavaScript. A direct import of a XLS or XLSX file is not possible, but you can use JavaScript for reading e.g. CSV files. But this script has to be programmed by you (or someone else), it's not included.

you can do this somehow like:

const content = await HMIRuntime.FileSystem.ReadFile(fileName, "UTF-8");
const splitcontent = content.split("\n");
for (let i = 0; i < splitcontent.length; i++) {
  const line = splitcontent[i];
  const columns = line.split(",");
  if (i === 0) {
    // do something with header
  } else {
    // do something with the values
  }
}

But that's a really basic example. You might need some functionality to verify the header line or the amount of values per line and so on.

In other applications, you will just download a full functional CSV JavaScript library and include it. Unfortunately, this is not possible with WinCC Unified.

Hi MaciekMdp,

are you thinking of the data logging instructions in a S7-1200/1500? In my opinion this would be a good alternative. Programming would be easier as you can easily find some examples. The only disadvantage would be that you have to use the web server functionality to bring files to the memory card while the PLC is running.
