pavlovand Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have 2 modules ET 200M IM153-2 (6ES7153-2BA10-0XB0) in one station. They are connected via ET 200M -Red. BUS IM (6ES7195-7HD10-0XA0). But when I form a hardware configuration, I cannot add both modules to one station. How to add correctly? Attachment hardware.png (446 Downloads)

This is for "Software redundancy for SIMATIC S7" or for "Fault-tolerant systems S7-400H". Since TIA Portal does not support either of these, I'm pretty sure you can't configure the hardware in TIA Portal. Nevertheless, I recommend to create a new support request to clarify the behavior. fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 3052 Rating: (1062)	Hi pavloland as Stefan already said, what you are trying to do is in principle possible with your S7-300 CPU's in a so called "Software Redundant System". The two problems you have with your setup are this though: You need to use classic Step 7 V5.x as the (licensed and chargeable) library for Software Redundant System does not exist for TIA Portal (not as far as I know anyhow). Even if you go down the classic Step 7 path, the AS-i Master CP343-2 module is NOT supported in an ET200M of a Software Redundant System. See also THIS link for more and note that it also contains a link for the Software Redundancy Manual

Correct in principle, but the CP343-2 is NOT supported in an ET200M of a Software Redundant system (I edited my previous post though to remove this ambiguity).
