I'm working on a new system that uses one S7-1500, two PC thats runs WinCC Pro (for redundancy), a few switches but also 6 MTP700 Unified panels. PArt number of the MTP700 is: 6AV2 128-3GB06-0AX1

It's all setup in a ring network and the PLC is the MRP Manager. We do get network system alarms to the PLC (and HMIs) when we pull cables and what not, so thats good. However, I don't have any alarms coming from the MTP700 when I disconnect on of the cables, I only get the alarms on the partner device of that Port.

Some are in the ring, some are not but they all behave the same, no alarm specific to that device when I disconnect a cable. It'S like its either not supported or not configured. I verified 20 times..

Any help would be appreciated.

what is the firmware version of your MTP700 devices? Is V17, Update 5 already running there? If not, you should test with this - the latest - version. If this does not solve the problem, please report it to Siemens by creating a new support request.

I actually had someone from Siemens do the initial setup but unfortunatelly I don't have further support now and it's somewhat urgent.

TIA portal is at V17 upt 5 and version on the panel is V17.00.00.00_50.01.00.13 and it's telling me it's up to date.

I will have a look in making an official ticket but wanted to see if someone could confirm that this feature is suppose to be available or not,
