Hello,

I was wondering if Siemens offers a reference manual for the OMS+ protocol. I have found this dissector and asking myself how does he know all attributes of the protocol. So do you know if Siemens offers a kind of reference manual or any other information (no matter if public or must be bought) where the author might have gotten the protocols information? 

The dissector is very helpful, but I'm wondering if can it be really complete or correct.

Hi Alex,

I'm quite sure, Siemens will not publish detailed information about the OMS+ framework. But thanks to reverse engineering - and maybe some information leaks - you can by communication libraries supporting OMS+. Since the OMS+ is under active development, there might always be some features not supported by third party products.
