rQx Bronze Member Joined: 12/9/2010 Last visit: 10/8/2025 Posts: 165 Rating: (5)	Hi, I send a technician to a site with a LOGO 8.2, I had a LOGO 8.3 at my desk and fixed the memory card with the new program. However at site, after successfully downloaded the new program, the program wasn't downloaded after all. He tried several times , every time it did what it supposed to do. But still the old program in the LOGO. We took the MMC to the office and tried with the 8.3 version and it worked. How can I make a MMC for an older version LOGO without having the LOGO at my desk? I've tried to download it to the 8.3 with the setting in the LOGOsoft beeing 8.2. /Tim

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 12/27/2025 Posts: 36378 Rating: (4545)	You can't use a program that was created with the device selection of a LOGO! 8.3 and saved on an mSD card in a LOGO! 8.2. Vice versa yes. So load the program from the mSD card into LSC, change the device selection from LOGO! 8.3 to LOGO!8.FS4 and save it back to the mSD card.

rQx Bronze Member Joined: 12/9/2010 Last visit: 10/8/2025 Posts: 165 Rating: (5)	I loaded the software from LSC to the LOGO 8.3 with the LOGO setting of 8.2 FS4 but didn't work to LSC 8.2 FS4 -> LOGO 8.3 -> mSD mSD -> LSC 8.2 FS4 -> NOT WORKING

If you want that a LOGO! can read the diagram from a SD card then must you store it with a special format on the SD card. And this is not with extension ".lsc" but with the extension ".bin". Did you store a diagram of a LOGO!8.FS4 with the extension ".bin", then can a LOGO! 8.3 read this. But if you store a diagram of a LOGO !8.3 with the extension ".bin", then can a LOGO! 8.2 read this not.

And that is good news for me, I thought that only way to make a SD card for a LOGO was to upload it from a LOGO or download a program to a LOGO with a SD card in it. So if I wan't to make a SD card for a LOGO 8.2 (or other versions), I have to save the file as LOGO_U_P.bin on a SD card on the PC?

If yes, + Change the LOGO! hardware your older LOGO! type + Press "Save as" and configure the settings in the picture: Attachment Create program on MSD.jpg (485 Downloads)
