LOGO! 24R software download not possible

Arno1965M Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Hello, I would like to make a software backup of an old model LOGO 24R Siemens no. 6ED1 052-1HA00-0BA0 This LOGO is equipped with a memory module with Siemens no. 6ED1 056-1AA00-0AA0. The backup would like to make with LOGO Soft version 8.3 and USB cable. (the memory module is first removed and then the USB cable connected). During the connection, the message "Unable to access the IP address Com4" appears, while I am using the LOGO! Cable selected. The USB cable is connected to Com4 according to the hardware specifications in Windows. How can I make a software backup of this old LOGO?

In addition, I have no problems with communication with newer versions of the LOGO in combination with this USB cable. In addition, I use a Siemens Field PG (M3), so all hardware is original from Siemens. Could the problem be related to the fact that standard a memory module 6ED1 056-1AA00-0AA0 is installed in this LOGO?

To connect to the PC you have to set this LOGO! in transfer mode. There are two ways. See attachment. Attachment LOGO! 0BA0 Long manual page 108.pdf (534 Downloads)
