I can answer you the 1st question--your X axis defined as "Transverse axis function" --I attached Siemens manual for this function overview. NCMD 20100 is define this.

Do you have experences on normal (CNC or standard ) Turning machine --that function is very  pupolar and good for oeprators 

other function I think you need ask OEM

Hello guys! I have a few questions about my machine (spinner tc-52mc). We bought is a few months ago and I noticed some things, that are different than my other machine, that is the exact same. 1st question is: when I give -0.1 in X axis in the tool offsets, it makes the diameter -0.2. (I think it gives the tool correction incremental, not absolute). 2nd question is: the new machine comes with Renishaw Tool Measurement Hand. When I set up a tool with it and make a cut, it gives around 0.34mm difference. Is there any way we set up the measurement hand to calibrate as it should. 3rd question: my old machine has like 2-3 sec "dwell" time between tool changes and then it accelerate to do its job. The new one goes immediately after the tool change. I quess there is some parameter about that and if so, does someone knows where I can put some waiting time. Thanks in advance!
