we have a robotics system which puts the bottles in the box. The robot is controlled by a simodrive 611 with cpu810d ccu2/dp. The cpu shows the error number 8 , what does this error mean?(attached you can see the situation of cpu)

finially you post it .

my simple tip for you is your CCU defective. try your luck like this.

shut off power, with draw CCU from CCU box, take out battery, leaving for >1 hour, when waiting you can version check CCU board to see there is some dirt on the IC chips, legs.. if yes, clean them with safety contactor cleaner. using soft ,dry air blowing to dry.then ( after 1 hour) insert CCU back to CCU box.-power up to see what happen.

post result here to see I can give you some other tips. if you get some LED's flashing

The link is similar problem but 840D, try doing as I showing them to do. If you still can not get your 810D working, That  will be as I told you "It is defective" you need to replace it.

Normally When I see this picture, I will say you CCU is defective. need order new one.

copy the whole Siemens # on the front of CCU --such as 6FC5XXX.xYA01-0AA2. or take a close pic' for Siemens #.

I may find an used but good condition one for you.

the last chance you want to try --if you have PCMC card with Siemens system parameters on it.(840D has that card all the time, 810D some version don't need insert card )--pic I attached.

shut off power insert card, set S3 to "2" power up --to see you can get display to "9",

then shut off power remove card to try.

if you have no PCMC card I cannot help any more.

 sorry for my question but, what will happen after one hour unplugged? Did it need arc files to load after that?
