RUN/STOP via external pusshbuttons connected to digital inputs

marinbnm Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi! I'm new here and I do have one micromaster junior. I need to program it when I press pussbutton that it starts to rotate motor to desired frequncy, and when I press another pussbotton that motor stops, I can program this and controll motor via micromaster green/red botton, but I can't make it work via external pusshbottons connected to DIN1, DIN2. I know how to program it it goes up to 50Hz (P005) and speed up tim (P002/3) Thanks for help!

P007 should be 0 (control is via digital inputs) P051 should be 1 (ON right) (function low state: off, function high state: On right) Just use DIN 1. Best regards, Wizard

marinbnm Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I did try that way, but works if I have ON/OFF switch, not pushbottun, I would need that one bottun start motor, other bottun stops motor, like on front panel RUN/STOP commends.

The two PB will be connected in series to DIN1 "Pin 5" and don't forget to connect a latch signal "Inverter Run signal"in paralel to the start PB via pins 10 & 11 of the MicroMaster Then Put the following parameters: P0700 = 2 P0701 = 1 P0731 = 52.2 Regards,

The two PB will be connected in series to DIN1 "Pin 5" and don't forget to connect a latch signal "Inverter Run signal"in paralel to the start PB via pins 10 & 11 of the MicroMaster Then Put the following parameters: P0700 = 2 P0701 = 1 P0731 = 52.2 Regards, ============================ another easier way: 2 pb's allNO contact . one connect to DIN1 "Pin 5" another to DIN2 "Pin 6" then use free functions 1st of allstandard quick commissioning, make sure DIN1 can start MM4 then do like that: 1) P0003=3; P2800=1;P2801[14]=1 2) P0701=99;P0702=99; P2840[0]=722.0;P2840[1]=722.1 3) P0840=2841 OK you will get 1st PB (DIN1) for START;2nd PB (DIN2)for STOP good luck and post some feedback

In this MM you could assign DI to works only in state 1 or state 0. For example, if you push button you receive 1 and the drive will start until you release this button. For example, if you push button you receive 1 and the drive will start until you release this button. But maybe someone has other idea...
