A CP 343-1 Lean (6GK7343-1CX10-0XE0) can act as a Profinet iO device (eg, as a slave) on a Profinet network, so it cannot controlthe network and initiate data exchanges.

A higher type of CP 343-1, such as a 6GK7 343-1EX230-0XE0 (CP 343-1) or 6GK7343-1GX31-0XE0 (CP 343-1 Advanced) can act either as an IO Controller (master) or IO Device (slave). See the attachment below.

Hello. I have a CPU CPU 319F-3 PN/DP with a CP 341-Lean and a CP 341-1

In this moment, we can not use the integrated PN port of the CPU for a Profinet network, so we buy the CP 341-1. My question is: the CP 341-1 on Profinet can handle Profinet devices?

If not, what will be the solution for having another Profinet network on out main CPU but with Profisafe support?

 I recommend also to check your text and correct some wrong cfg names to be not confused in future and also for other users, I mean CP341 what is total different HW component.
