Hello adrian_botez; A CP 343-1 Lean (6GK7343-1CX10-0XE0) can act as a Profinet iO device (eg, as a slave) on a Profinet network, so it cannot controlthe network and initiate data exchanges. A higher type of CP 343-1, such as a 6GK7 343-1EX230-0XE0 (CP 343-1) or 6GK7343-1GX31-0XE0 (CP 343-1 Advanced) can act either as an IO Controller (master) or IO Device (slave). See the attachment below. If you want to "start" a new Profinet network, open the following link to see an example on how to build your network configuration, and note that you must learn to parameterize and call the blocks FC11 "PNIO_SEND" and FC12 "PNIO_RECV" in your user program to initiate data exchanges with the IO deices in your network: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ca/en/view/26558253 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
