I used to work with process DAQ's so I took a look at the spec sheet and users manual for the Keysight 970A DAQ. It is targeted at the test and measurement market, not the process market. I found no mention of raw TCP/IP communications. What I did find was a 400 page programming guide for SCPI, a test & measurement protocol for control and DAQ, link below:https://www.keysight.com/us/en/assets/9018-04756/programming-guides/9018-04756.pdf?success=true The term TCP/IP does not appear in the programming manual. The GPIB interface (another T&M protocol) is available only on the DAQ973A (page 332). I did not see any reference to common process comm protocols, Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP. I could have missed them, but I think you're going to have to use SCPI if you want to talk to the box. |
