Are you trying to connect 2 S7-1512-F PLCs as i-Device's as shared IO devices between 2 PLCs?

I cannot speak to the -F aspect, but I do know you can share inputs between IO controllers with i-Devices.  But, the outputs cannot be shared.  Only one IO controller can access the outputs.

Perhaps you are trying to create a redundant i-Device configuration?  If so, I have not seen anything about it.  Does not mean that Siemens has not made it possible, just that I have not heard about it.

Try searching this support site for shared i-Devices for sample applications, documentation, and if you still find nothing useful, submit a Support Request to Siemens support asking how to do it.  Be sure to send them an archive of your project(s) so they can see exactly what hardware you are working with.

I configured 1 of them as I Device and exported the GSD file.

I want to configure it by importing this GSD file to the remaining 4 plc.

I can connect to a device with a single IO Controller. there is no problem.

But when I want to connect with the 2nd IO Controller, I get the attached error. I could not install to I Device with 2 IO controllers at the same time. When one of them connects, the other produces the same error.

You can see the architecture I need in the attachment.

Take a (small) step back for a moment.

Get the i-Device to work with a single device without error.

Have you succeeded with that yet?  If not, you will never get the 2nd device to accept data from the i-Device.

When you look at i-device-vent-m1 while online, when the online & diagnostics are selected for _that_ device, what is present in the diag buffer for that device?

Next, how many project files do you have?  1, 2, or 3?
